Q: What is a commission?
A: A commission is when you request a custom piece of art from an artist.

Q: Does it cost money?
A: Yes, it does. It's just like hiring a plumber to make some repairs you can't or won't do yourself.

Q: Do you take non-anime commissions?
A: Sure, I accept just about everything, well everything that's within my capabilities anyway...

Q: I want a yaoi/yuri/hentai-ish illustration. Will you do it?
A: I don't mind tasteful nudity. No hardcore hentai stuff. I will not take fan service illustration request either, it's simply not my style.

Q: Can you use any medium?
A: I'm unfortunately not quite proficient in using traditional mediums (except maybe pencils). Anything computer generated is fine though. ^.^

Q: How do I pay for a commission?
A: You can pay me by mail order or by PayPal.

Q: How do I receive my completed art?
A: Pencil and ink artwork can be sent by either email (jpg or gif format) or snail mail. Digital illustration will only be sent by email, sorry. (I don't own a very good color printer so it'd probably best if you print it out yourself...)

Q: Can I cancel our contract?
A: Yes, but keep this in mind. If you cancel early your initial payment will be refund, but if I'm in an advance state of the production or near completion I will keep 50% of the payment as compensation for the trouble.

Q: How long does it usually take you to finish a commission?
A: It really depends on the complexity of the illustration. It can take a week for something simple, a month for something more challenging.

Q: How much do you charge for a commission?
A: Please refer to the price chart for estimated prices.

Q: Do I own the artwork when you're done?
A: No, the artwork still belongs to me. Copyright law states that it's the person making the illustration who usually owns the copyright, unless a agreement has been made between the commissioned artist and commissioner. Therefore, any art you commission from me remains my property, which basically means that you can't sell, copy or distribute my art. If owning the rights is an absolute necessity for you, you must specifically request it when asking for a commission so we can make an agreement. Keep in mind that in this particular case the commission will cost more than usual.

Q: Do you do illustration commissions only?
A: No, I can also make web designs (can even do web programming if the need should arise), logos, flyers and so on. If you need something specific and you are not sure if I'm adequate for the job, just email me and we'll talk about it.

Q: I need an artist/colorist/designer for my undergoing project and I'm willing to pay. Would you accept to be part of the team?
A: If I'm not too busy and if it pays right off, maybe. I'm not too interested in any "If this works out, you might get payed, but it's really not sure..." projects, not unless I believe there's great potential and that it can be pulled off.
